The Project
Self-care for the Black woman is essential for self-preservation, staying well and navigating the challenges of everyday life.
The “Building Resilience to Manage Barriers for Black Women through Self-care” programme funded by the National Lottery Community Fund is a great opportunity for Black African and Caribbean women and women from the Diaspora, to benefit from gaining an understanding of how to embed self-care as a tool. To build self- confidence, resilience and embrace unapologetically the authentic you. To thrive and be the best version of you.
The Programme
- 2-day Workshop
- Wellbeing Practitioner sessions
- Learning In Action online sets
- Healing Circle
- End of Project celebration event “What have we learnt?”

Evening Cherill
It was wonderful. Great group of sisters. All really shared and open to do the work . Didn’t realise we would speak so much at the end but see it was needed and practical work brought things to surface .
Thank you for all the work you do to bring sisters together. Look forward to future sharing and work with you.
Have a lovely evening 🌟
